第八届智博会将于2018年9月7日-9日在宁波举办，同期将举办全球智能经济峰会，以“创新、协调、绿色、开放、共享”五大发展理念为指引，以“数字驱动，智能发展”为主题，以“一会”、“一展”、“一奖”、“一赛”为载体，集中展示全球智能经济、新型智慧城市、“中国制造2025”、“互联网+”的新技术、新产品、新成果。深入探讨智能经济的发展策略，着力开展项目对接和合作，搭建智能经济展示、交流、合作的国际化大平台，促进智能经济发展和数字中国建设。
The Eighth Smart City ExpoandGlobal Intelligent Economy Summit will besimultaneouslyheld in Ningbofrom September 7thto 9th, 2018. With “digital-drivenintelligentdevelopment”as itsthemeand in keeping with the central government’s aim of promoting innovative, coordinated, green, open and shared development,the Smart City Expo features four main events—theExposition, theGlobal Intelligent Economy Summit, the2018 China-Europe Green & Smart City Award Ceremony, and theAIIA Cup Artificial Intelligence Tournament. During these events,new technologies, new products,developmentsintheglobal intelligent economy,advancements insmart citydevelopment, and achievements in the implementation of the“Made in China 2025”Initiative and “InternetPlus”Initiative will be showcased. TheSmart City Expoaims become a platform for dialogue, business matchmaking,strengthening cooperation, and enhancing exchanges in the fieldof intelligent economy, so as to promote the development of intelligent economy and the construction of digital China.

Global Intelligent Economy Summit
TheGlobal Intelligent Economy Summit, a global platform for exchange, will be attended by governmentleaders from Belt and Road countries, EU countries,officials fromministries andcommissions of China,officials fromprovincialandmunicipalgovernments,academicians ofintelligenteconomy fromChinese Academy of SciencesandChinese Academy of Engineering, authoritative experts and scholars of intelligenteconomyfrom China and abroad,domesticandforeigninstitutions, leading enterprises inindustries related to intelligenteconomy, as well asdelegates from well-known enterprises of intelligenteconomyfrom China andabroad. Participants will be invited to deliverpresentations and engage in dialogues on the latest news and trend, cutting-edge research and technology, and the future ofintelligenteconomy. There will be over 1,000 delegates attending the Summit. The8thSmart City Expo
The 8thSmart City Expohas an exhibition area of 30,000m2, with5 pavilions—Pavilion ofFamous ChineseandInternational Enterprises, IntelligentManufacture Pavilion,Smart City ApplicationPavilion,Artificial Intelligence/IoT Pavilion, and Innovation andTechnologyExperiencePavilion.The organizer, adhering tothe concept of hostinginternational, professional and excellentexhibitions,will invite many well-known IT enterprises from China and abroad to the Expo. Besides, with the emphasis on the key fields ofintelligenteconomysuch asintelligentmanufacturing and new-type smart city, a batch of frontiertechnology, products andapplications are going to be released and presented in terms of smartcity,intelligentmanufacture,information consumption, artificial intelligence, big data,cloudcomputing, Internet of things, intelligent terminal, information security, etc. Moreover, somesuccessfulcases of new-type smart city and typical cases of“Internet Plus”will also be demonstrated in the Expo.This year, the organizer will be dedicated to making the exhibits morehigh-end and globalized. It is estimated that there will be over 400 exhibitors coming to the Expo.
